New Work! 

A lot of great work came out of the kiln this week! I am endlessly addicted to the process of atmospheric firing! There is always something to learn and re-investigate, however these pieces came out the way I expected them to with a large variety of flashing and carbon trapping. At temperature the soda wraps around the sphere shape very nicely and draws beautiful colors out of the clay body. These intimate bud vases are tests for larger work to come!
